Situated 100 meters from the shores of Lake Leake, the lake is one of the state’s premier lure/fly fisheries holding a good head of wild brown trout and stocked regularly with rainbows. The Lake Leake Inn has plenty of accommodation available, ranging from FREE RV camping to double/family rooms with shared bathroom facilities.
The Lake Leake Inn is steeped in history, with the Inn being around 112 years old and the Lake is one of the first to be stocked in Tasmania with trout. The pub is situated on 10 acres so there is plenty of room for your RV, caravans, and boats.
The inn has a warm and friendly public bar with wood fires, cold beers on tap, local whiskeys, wines, and fresh produce. The pub is also home to what many are now claiming to be the best steaks and counter meals in the State thanks to our in-house butcher.
Aside from the lake itself, we are spoiled with opportunities and surrounded by some of the best rivers, private fisheries and lakes in the State all within 1 hour’s drive.
