In 2021 Ray Curran joined Red Tag as House Guide with over 30 years of fly fishing experience
Red Tag Trout Tours conducts all-inclusive guided wild trout, fly fishing tours and introductory fly fishing workshops.

Ray Curran
Red Tag Trout Tours was originally established and operated for 25+ years by Owner/Operator Roger Butler who has been fly fishing Tasmania’s wild trout rivers, streams and lakes for over 50 years.
Ray Curran joined Red Tag in 2021 as House Guide and, on Roger’s retirement at the end of the 2022-23 season Ray has become the new owner operator of Red Tag Trout Tours. Ray has over 30 years of fly fishing experience and over 45 years overall fishing Tasmanian trout waters.
