The Highland Fly is focussed on personalised fly fishing tours for individuals and small groups. Whether it be lake fishing from my Quintrex Hornet, wading the shores of the Hydro Lakes or learning to fly fish on a private lake, The Highland Fly is ready to offer you your quintessential Tasmanian fly fishing experience. I happily cater for experienced anglers or those who are tackling the dark art of fly fishing for the first time.
I am Hobart based and therefore am able to transport people to and from the lakes, but also have a home base in Miena on the Great Lake which means I can provide services to support your stay in the Central Highlands. I can also assist you with finding local accommodation.
Although the majority of my clients visit the Central Highlands, I am also happy to explore options closer to Hobart or further afield from the Central Highlands.
